I, am Joe Curran, the J in MJ Safety Solutions. I am a 42 year old married father of a daughter, a son, and a golden retriever. I'm the guy on the left in the picture. This is a brief history of my company;
After the columbine tragedy my partner, Mike Pelonzi and I, two concerned fathers, were worried about our own children’s safety. As longtime friends and firearms instructors we made the decision to become proactive in giving students and teachers a safety tool when it came to armed intruders in schools.
After years of testing we succeefully created the "My Childs Pack". A full size Bullet proof backpack for students and teachers to use. Adding a 20oz (The weight of one bottle of water) affordable ballistic panel that has been certified to a threat level IIIA.
The ballistic panel is sewn into the back of the backpack and gives the user a level of protection never before offered to the civilian market..
These high quality rugged backpacks have multiple pockets, sleeves, beverage holders, and of course a laptop compartment which meets the needs of any student at any grade level.
We then created MJ Safety Solutions, their company that would make these ground breaking Bullet Proof Backpacks available to students , teachers and others.
The backpacks were introduced August 8, 2007 in a story in the Boston Herald and then featured on Fox 25 news and wcvb channel 5 news with Pam Cross. The story of the My Childs Pack a Bullet Proof backpack continued to draw media attention across the United States and abroad. Featured on over 500 News reports, radio ,TV shows and numerous magazines include Time Magazine, New York Times Magazine, The wall Street Journal, etc.

Very impressive I think you guys should be commended for a product that unfortunately we need in our schools and society the my childs pack is a great name for your bullet proof backpacks.
